Jonny Rumble
Good For The Market
Jonny Rumble started in the spring of 2000 when three Western Michigan Students were bored one evening and decided to jam in their friend's basement. They did this and recorded the jams on a crappy tape player so they could listen to it later. |

About Jonny Rumble :
Jonny Rumble began as an attempt to cure boredom one evening in Detroit in the spring of 2000. Three Western Michigan Students, Brian Webb, Jeremy Pryor and Patrick O’Connor found themselves in the middle of a jam session in the basement of a friend, made a tape of the jam, and the rest...they say...is history.
The trio recorded more demos, and found themselves playing open mic nights and house parties, slowly catching a fan base in the Kalamazoo area. Once Brian’s brother Seth, made his way to town to serve as a drummer, the four gentlemen finally had themselves a full band, and debuted their sound at the Western Michigan University Battle of the Bands in 2001.
In 2002, the band was able to release their first album, Everybody’s Green, and followed the release with a tour of western Michigan and Detroit. However, the band was growing tired of Michigan, and felt they had conquered all it had to offer, so they planned a move.
With a potential contract and deal to cut a new album, Jonny Rumble headed off to Orlando, Florida in 2003. While in Orlando, they released their second album, Everything Burns, and toured all over the state of Florida. The tour confirmed what they were slowly discovering, Florida didn’t quite feel like home.
Heading back to Detroit, they recorded one more album, The Lost Album, before making the move to Chicago in January of 2005, a place they could finally call “home.”
Jonny Rumble’s latest release, Good For the Market, is their first with Windy City Records, and is sure to be their best to date. They are original, energetic and refreshing rock and roll music. Listening is believing...
