Jonny Rumble
Good For The Market
Jonny Rumble started in the spring of 2000 when three Western Michigan Students were bored one evening and decided to jam in their friend's basement. They did this and recorded the jams on a crappy tape player so they could listen to it later. |

Harvest

About Harvest:
At the end of the summer of 2001, Harvest thought that it was all over. Oldest brother Russ and his younger brothers Steve and Scott opened up their garage in Elgin one morning - the headquarters and jam hangout of their band - to find thousands of dollars of music equipment and vintage guitars stolen. With no instruments and no amps they found themselves stripped to their core, forced to rely on the only thing the thieves could never take away - their raw talent.
It seemed impossible, but the Barnes brothers and their longtime bass player and close friend Chad Frederickson were able to sow the seeds for a musical future. It was in the summer of 2004, after playing at Chicago's famed West Loop Art Market that Harvest was reborn and triumphed to a miraculous comeback. After adding drummer Sam Heckman in September of 2004, Harvest was once again ready to take Chicago. Their efforts have since been realized in dozens of performances at several Chicago venues and a lightning bolt of a four-song EP that was released this spring.
It was in this never give up spirit that Harvest was able to reap the talent of a trio of brothers and their close friends to forge on and continue with their unique sound, refusing to surrender as victims of a crime but promising to push on as Chicago musical soldiers. This tough-as-nails attitude penetrates with every chord in every track that Harvest composes. On stage, they ignite crowds with their original alternative-style jams reminiscent of early 90s alternative pioneers such as Pearl Jam and The Black Crowes mixing in essences of blues, folk and rock.
Harvest, after facing certain doom in a world of millions of bands of broken dreams, still climbs up to the stage to every one of their performances, holding their instruments and turning towards the smoky rooms filled with their fans continue to do what they do best: Play with the passion that burns from their souls.
